1. Terms
By accessing this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the website’s Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.
2. New Accounts
When you sign up for a new website, your web hosting account will be set up within 2 hours and you will receive two emails including login details after signing up.
Domain Names and Domain Transfers order for your domain name to point to The Social Marketing Mavens’ server that your new account is located on, you must change your DNS (Domain Name Servers) at your registrar. That process is not known as a domain transfer. A domain transfer is if you want to physically transfer your domain to The Social Marketing Mavens and away from your original registrar. A domain transfer is $15.00 and that goes toward one year of registration with The Social Marketing Mavens Domains, added on to your current registration period with the previous registrar.
The Social Marketing Mavens will take necessary steps to register domain names on behalf of the client when requested. However, clients are responsible for renewing their domain names. The Social Marketing Mavens does not take responsibility for failing to renew domain names. If your domain name was registered via our company, you must check and take appropriate actions to renew a domain that is about to expire. All domains are by default automatically renewed.
3. Payments
All invoices will be generated and automatically charged on the 1st of every month. Invoices will be viewable in The Social Marketing Mavens control panel. Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express are the only acceptable forms of payment. Five (5) days after the invoice is due you will receive an overdue reminder. If payment is not received within 24 hours of the overdue reminder the account will be suspended until payment is made. After 30 days, the account will be terminated and remaining invoice balance will be sent to collections.
4. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on The Social Marketing Mavens website for business and/or personal (non-commercial) transitory usage only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- - modify or copy the materials;
- - use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
- - attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on The Social Marketing Mavens’ website;
- - remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
- - transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server.
This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by The Social Marketing Mavens at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
5. Disclaimer
The materials on The Social Marketing Mavens’ website are provided “as is”. The Social Marketing Mavens make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, The Social Marketing Mavens do not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.
6. Limitations
In no event shall The Social Marketing Mavens or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on The Social Marketing Mavens website, even if The Social Marketing Mavens and/or an authorized representative of The Social Marketing Mavens has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
7. Content
The Social Marketing Mavens, believes in freedom of speech; however, any content (written, visual, or implied) in the following areas will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate suspension of service (in most cases customer will be allowed a zip file of their account): racism or prejudice due to color, creed, or belief; any violent/malicious/obscene content written, visual or implied. We will not tolerate any type of hate site including terrorist related websites on our network.
If we receive notice that there is such a hate site hosted within our network, the customer hosting the material will be notified immediately. They are required to remove the content within a certain timeframe or will face account suspension and/or termination. We prefer that you self-govern your content and remain responsible and all-knowing of your website publicly provides. Even if other users have access to your account, you are responsible for their actions. However, if The Social Marketing Mavens, is made aware of any questionable content on a The Social Marketing Mavens hosted site, we will address the concerns immediately and directly with you to seek a resolution. If any person contacts us about content they have found on an The Social Marketing Mavens server that copyrights their own material or that they wish to be removed, we require a proper DMCA notice to begin investigation.
8. Revisions And Errata
The materials appearing on The Social Marketing Mavens’ website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. The Social Marketing Mavens do not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. The Social Marketing Mavens may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. The Social Marketing Mavens does not, however, make any commitment to update the materials.

The Social Marketing Mavens has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by The Social Marketing Mavens of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user’s own risk.

The Social Marketing Mavens may revise these terms of use for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.
11. Termination Of Services
By using our our services you understand that all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. Upon termination of service the domain, website design, layout, content management system, etc can be transferred to the client (assuming all outstanding invoices and fees are paid in full).
Currently monthly financial obligation must be fulfilled prior to any transfer or modifications to domain. We require a 30 day notice prior to the billing date, otherwise the following month will be charged.
12. Governing Law
Any claim relating to The Social Marketing Mavens’ website shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina without regard to its conflict of law provisions. General Terms and Conditions applicable to use of this Website.
